i'm so sleepy...i hate exams...
but if i don't pass, i won't become a vet.
other than the fact i have no social life, i am in the course i wanna be in. 30 contact hours a week with more to come next year. apparently all second years end up crying at some stage. Wow.

i was thinking about friends, people i left in malaysia. the new ones i made here. the old ones i know who are here but i never meet up with. every now and then i wonder if i could have done a better job keeping in touch. maybe i'm just lazy which sounds terrible, or the pressures and busyness of life just sucked me in and i have no time. then there's family time which suffers if i hang out all weekend with friends. is there a way to balance work, friends, family, a relationship and church without one suffering. i think not. at least not for me.

is what i'm saying even making sense? am i just drifting along with whatever life throws at me?

dookie dookie dookie

well I'm kinda glad to get my blog back after blogger decided it was a spam blog for about a week so i can further procrastinate my studies by claiming I need a break. Anyway, the most recent exciting occurrence in vet has been the Dookie trip. I suppose the practical work we actually did was pretty ordinary (especially since I was in the group that did nothing but sheep and cattle) but I mean it was 3 days off school, free accomodation and food and socially it was pretty fun.

why are these lambs running away?

hmm, a) they want to get away from us

b) they want to get to their mothers

c) they know that its castration timeee....

this picture i have here is lamb restraining device if you ever needs to do the snip snip on these unfortunately wooly ones by yourself. luckily the procedure involves putting a rubber band that has the circumference of a thumbtack around the animal's testicles. might i add the rubber bands are very very tight.

i think animal wise that was the most interesting time i had. i still can't believe group A got to see Clydesdale horses! I love their woolly socks.... and now onto some random stuff.
this was a piece of art taken from chris' school's art exhibition. it's supposed to depict sorrow and depression. pretty cool huh?

last but not least, is my doggie Bailey who is the biggest sook in the world. he loves his belly rubs. i apologise for his obscene position.
